Interesting aircraft - what have you seen on your computer today?
I went down to Orange County airport, Montgomery, NY yesterday to volunteer during set up of this weekend's New York Air Show, and was astounded to see this rather forlorn Beagle 206. No visible registration markings unfortunately. I don't think I've seen one of these in 45 years.

I don't think it's going anywhere any time soon.
It's N46880 - I think one of several I recall seeing at Biggin on my first visit in June 75...

Dave's nailed it, Google was my friend but I do recall the reg. There were at least 3 furrin ones at Biggin when I went in '75 - 2 American and one Paraguayan, though I don't think it ever got to Paraguay. All in the basic RAF Transport Command scheme minus markings.
Quite a few Beagle 206s at Fort Lauderdale Executive when I went in '84, read an article about the owner who was doing them up and very keen on promoting the type...

Watching something Gipsy Major powered orbiting in the Biggin circuit - just too far away to be sure even if it's biplane, high or low wing... nice sound though.

Yankee 21 went westbound over London just now, originated out of Fairford, lot of loitering around Saarbrucken and looks like back to Fairford. Don't tell me I missed the opportunity to see a -52...

The opportunities to see 'em over London might be a bit rare though! Haven't seen one in the air for years... Either Fairford or Farnborough. Or was it Blackbushe...?
Actually, there was quite a lot of cloud about this afternoon, so probably would have missed it anyway...
Anyway, fingers crossed!

Bugger! I was out and about then and didn't notice anything unusual. I did see a gaggle of B52's over London about 9 years ago, all contrailing beautifully in the blue sky. One even decided to change course and drift nearer a leading aircraft, which gave the group of straight lines an interesting twist. oh well, perhaps they'll do it again before they head back to Minot.
I was rudely woken up at 5:30 this morning by a pulsating aeroplane noise, coming and going quite nearby. I turned on FR24 to see a Cessna Titan, out of EMA, vaguely wandering back and forth over the Isle of Purbeck at 4800'. It didn't show the regular, straight lines of most survey aircraft I have seen and his props were definitely out of sync, at least some of the time. Judging from the irritating noise, from an aircraft which was at least 5 - 10 miles away from me, the props were also in fine pitch. It could have been in trouble I suppose.

Just noted a Czech AF Yak 40 speeding from Warsaw towards Prague - think I only over saw a single Yak 40, at Farnborough supporting one of their attendances. Sure they weren't still trying to flog the type.
If well maintained, why not ? The Swedish AF have some Sabreliners still flying and if it's steam powered tech, the Mx should be relatively easy and inexpensive. You used to see the YAK-40's a lot in central European countries back in the day, I remember Malev and LOT, possibly CSA as well. They were regulars at UK airshows along with the Soviet contingent, Aeroflot mostly.
Lovely to see them still flying, good catch!
