Bugger! I was out and about then and didn't notice anything unusual. I did see a gaggle of B52's over London about 9 years ago, all contrailing beautifully in the blue sky. One even decided to change course and drift nearer a leading aircraft, which gave the group of straight lines an interesting twist. oh well, perhaps they'll do it again before they head back to Minot.
