Interesting aircraft - what have you seen on your computer today?
Does anyone know why RAF Wolf24 is tailing DL83 over County Galway at this time?

Another An124 just went over London, looks like Brize is its target. Seems have originated from somewhere along the Adriatic.

Ah, good to see Biggin's newly rebuilt 4th 2 seat Spitfire G-AWGB is aloft, presumably with a customer in the back...
Delight, just did a replay on Flight Tracker, couldn't see anything over York at that time but there were Hawks, Typhoons and FR Falcon 20s around the NE and out over the North Sea.

Thanks.
As you say there was some more activity later that day which did show up. The morning pass was much louder. Reminded me of a Typhoon display at East Fortune. Pity it was so cloudy.

Samaritans Purse DC8 on the way to PIK. Don't see many of them around!

BAe 146 G-0F0M of Formula One Management currently circling Tilbury/Northfleet at a constant 4350' but in ever decreasing circles. Take a quick look before it disappears up its own tail pipe.

It seems to have got in to Biggin ok and is now on its way back out towards Dover and climbing. Weather here in Croydon has been pretty dire on and off this morning so perhaps Biggin was below minimums for a bit.
C130's beating up Britain
I think I heard them go by (20,000ft), thought it was a DC6 or something like that.
The second one was launched from the secret base at Crianlarich.

Spotted a C17 passing overhead whilst shopping in Kirkintilloch today. Can't post a screenshot but it was RRR829 if you want to follow it. It left Brize at 14:47 and flew to Stornoway for a dozen or so circuits over the runway then came down to Glasgow for a couple of circuits then off to Edinburgh for the same.
It's actually in the middle image of the post above. The aircraft to the left of Livingston.

Supermarine Spitfire G-LFIX just before 5pm skimming west of London Control, S>N ~ 2000 feet , back to Northampton ORM looks like it put on a short display @ Eastbourne according to F24.
At the same time ! , then watching some high level stuff, ( great contrails today ) ,
Boeing 777-328(ER) F-GSQU AF Paris CDG - JFK 34,000 feet ,
and a (B744) Boeing 747-412F(SCD) 9V-SFQ Singapore 747 ! Cargo LAX - BRU 26,000 feet .
Brilliant , all because I had to catch the Post ! and walked obliviously , as normal ..

Walking with a friend through Bramley Bank nature reserve with a friend tonight I said "listen!" She heard and looked me enquiringly. Not one but I reckon two Spits getting airborne from Biggin - the Airvan was up too. I could only see TE308 around a while later but the glorious sound was beautifully loud and certainly out of synch like only a pair of Merlins can be - not a Lycoming as well and the Airvan was well south of the airfield. Bloody marvellous! She, lucky girl, has had a look round the BHHH facility...
Atlas Air B744 N415MC, probably "raised a few eyebrows" circling over Gloucester then passing N of Cirencester and turning S over "Cartoontown" before lining up and just touching down at Fairford.
