I used to fly a PA28-236 Dakota from Coventry, G-TART
G-TART is alive and well at Goodwood at the moment.

Previously mentioned G-REAT is a Grumman light twin...I did my Multi-engine rating test in it a million years ago.!
When I was but a lad in BEA, we had a Viscount 800 Series
G-APIM.
Phonetically, of course it was India Mike, but I never heard it referred to as anything other than Itchy Minge.
Funnily enough, over the weekend, I was also told of a Polish Aircraft which was to fly in the UK for a relatively short while. The owners felt compelled, for some reason, to re-register it. Don't ask me what aircraft it was, but it was initially registered SP-ERM

Cool

Yes, Brakes Hot, G-MONG was a 737-3YO.
G-MONR and G-MONS are A300s. Nothing amusing about that except that they had a less than spectacular introduction to service and were quickly dubbed 'Non Runner' and 'Non Starter'!
G-MONY is an A320.

I had a brief whizz around, long ago, in an Aerostar 601P G-TIME.

I remember seeing a photograph in 'Flight International' (Roger Bacon page) of an SF260 I-SINK. The caption was something like "I think it's trying to tell us something, Hoskins."

I am reminded that Air UK's first F100 into service was G-UKFC - I think thats anagrammatically correct.
