Has any one had to Sue Parc?
After signing contract with Them and going thru all ground school and flight training, now They are trying to change contract and not pay what the contract said they would pay. Any one else have this experience with Parc?
If So, do I sue them in Ireland or Isle of Man? Sould be very straight forward as contract We both signed is very clear.
I'd appreciate any feed back from any one Who has had a similar experience.
Thank You

Aviation Contractors - Legal Action due Breach of Contract
I had a very similar situation with another Contractor, and was advised to pursue them through an Employment Tribunal. This will minimize your legal costs as you can represent yourself.
The contract did specify that it was 'subject to the laws of England and Wales', so that may also be a factor in what you can do.
For the record it was settled out of court after about 12 months, so be prepared for a long haul.
Good luck.

Owed about $22,000
By Parc. Took them to the Industrial Relations Tribunal in The Isle of Man. All done by fax. Didn't cost me a cent. After a few months I got all my money. Back then IOM was tired of shipping companies using it as a flag of convenience and were eager to take them on. That's not much different being a pilot agency with no human presence in IOM, save a Barrister. Be warned that didn't stop them trying to intimidate me by offering to sue the pants off me and ensure I was unemployable in the future.

it's too sad to be true. PARC was such a good agency in the "good old times", at John O'Shea's time.
And it's not that much time ago. Maybe not even 10 years or so. I was proud to be one of Parc's pilots.
But with the merger of CAE the desaster starts.......
Nowadays.... a crap like all other agencies around the world, whatsoever you name them.

Hi all,
Sadly I had the same experience with Parc two years ago. Once I got to the place of work they wanted me to sign a new contract with modifed date of start convenient for them. That meant they wouldnt had to pay two weeks of salary. That was so low from a once such a reputable company. I refused so they started to intimidate that if I not sign that may affect future payment. Sent several emails which resulted in no satisfactory answer. After all this they did not pay me my notice period after the completion of contract wich is another month of payment clearly stated in the contract. Again emails went but found deaf ears at Parc. I proposed them to pay my salary according to contract otherwise I would seek legal solution. Still they did not care. They did not even bother to respond.
I had the feeling that as an eastern european Parc treated me like a second grade somebody whom they knew would never endevour into legal issues in Isle of Man. And of course I never did since I am far from familiar of their legal system and I know it would be a very long process. Thats all in a nutshell. I trusted them because they were "Parc" .
I think this a disgrace to them and I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone these days.
Happy landings

When I was an Engineer with Parc, our overalls has Parc written on them, a fellow engineer pointed out to me every time you look in the mirror don't forget who you work for, as it's says CRAP!! Turned out to be true, trying to not to pay me a bonus, that was 1996/97 when they were supposedly good!

Just finished months of tiresome negotiations wth Parc because they did not pay according to the laws of the country of the ailrline I worked for.
Had to engage the authorities of the country to have them pay up.
In the end they claimed that due to a “ administrative error” on their side they now were willing to pay out of goodwill !
Seems all ok then ?
No !
The calculations were wrong and they were not willing to search for the error costing me 30% of my arrears.
The officials of the country were not willing to check the correct follow up and suggested me to go to a lawyer.
Ofcause I won't because he will be the sure winner !

Similar problem with PARC. Used to work through them for 2 years. They didn't respect few items in the contract. I was trying for more then a year politely to get everything that I signed for but they didn't care at all. At the end, I warned them that I will just leave and I left without notice. They were treatening to sue me but when I mentioned a lawyer, they backed up. It didn't stop them even one year after to try to undermine my employment with another carrier. My job offer was withdrawn because PARC spread many lies. Luckily, new company was quite sensible, so they double checked everything and offered me job again

I dealt with Parc for 2 jobs in 2016 and 2017.
When I applied, they sent me all the relevant terms and conditions, and both times, after I passed the selection, they sent me a contract totally diffirent, which I refused to sign.
They were arrogant to the point that they wanted to sell me that the contract was the same as the initial conditions.
Never again!
