and how to apply for aug-sept attempt??? i've been mailing Mr. Mahantesh since long and no call yet?? i haven't appeared for any spicejet exam till date and i am eagerly waiting for a chance

You cannot specifically apply for the next written exam. All you have to do is wait for the invitation from Mahantesh (and that turns out to be a random process). Till then, you can send him multiple emails with your CV requesting for an opportunity to sit for the exam.

WARNING : I don't think SpiceJet has a fair selection process. But I'm guessing if you do extremely well in the test, you may be called for the interview.

No spice exam this year

I hope I'm wrong.
But I had a word with one of the concerned person in HR of spice jet. He said they have no plan to conduct any exam right now, and won't be at least this year.

Systems, met, simple math, aptitude.. Etc etc etc..
Or so I heard..

The question is - are we getting invited to sit for this exam? An invitation that costs 25000 INR (who knows, they may hike that fee)

Well I got a mail by Mahantesh saying that your CV has been recieved and would be called for future assessments......dont know how many people got the same....got this almost 15 days ago...

Fantastic! You have definitely passed the first Stage of scrutiny. In that case, you will be called for the exam.

Lets see....Thats why I was thinking of preparing for it. If I get to know what they atually look for in the exam that would be helpfull.

I doubt it will be in month of august......they have not even hired all candidates from the last recruitment......as per my info only first batch has been inducted
....737 TR guys are still waiting for their joining since months now

Are you referring to the recruitment of pilots who passed the written exam on Jan 31, 2012? As far as I know, 17 pilots were recruited after the final interview and they have been split into two batches. I reckon they're off to Toronto next month for the Q400 type-rating program.
