I think its all a set up (Or should I say Cover Up !!) by jet air.They have already allotted the posts to "Bhais n Bhatijas" of politicians & "Betas n Betis" of commanders.They are conducting the recruitment process just for the sake of it and so that the unemployed lads dont make a fuss about it.I have observed the recruitment process of jet for quite a few years and have to say this time the recruitment process is being held in the most weirdest manner!! It will be interesting to see how many of non-influential CPL holders make it to the other side of the process!!

But if you read my post thoroughly you'd have found the answer by yourself sir!!
It was a shocker in the sense the website of jet reads something else and the HR department is doing completely different(Asking for Type rated fellows no other info what so ever and then sending out exam call letters to non typerated guys as well,Jet air is deffinately up to something).Being an observant doesnt mean getting "Inside Scoops!".You get the idea just by reading the posts regarding openings with them on their website.Earlier if the add read TR fellow needed meant only TR fellows need to apply and candidates w/o TR will not be entertained under what so ever circumstances.. I have always had high regards for Jet air and its transparent recruitment process till now(Deserving candidates w/o any backings were given fare chance right from flight deck recruitment to ground staff well exceptions were there but in a few nos.).Up till now Jet air was an equal opportunity employer in every sense and no body could point a finger at them.There is a saying "Nothing lasts forever".Times have changed,it came as a shocker to me for sure but I hold nothing against jet.They might be under a lot of pressure as well and jet has evolved (or might have been compelled to evolve and change its policies!!)as an organisation (for good or bad? well that is for us to observe,feel & decide!!)

Well Jay it seems that they are playing Tambola at Jet Air HR department!! Every recruiter is given a chit with nos written on it(and those nos have been allotted to the applicants) the HR manager picks a no.randomly ,calls it out loud and the recruiter who finds that no to be on his/her chit cancells tht no from the chit and sends an email to the candidate bearing that no !!! Cant say till when they will continue to send out call letters (Their game,their rules and their time!!).Probably they'll continue till they find a clear winner amongst the recruiters..!! (The one who checks out every no. on his/her chit)!!

Two of my friends sent their resumes on Friday the 16th and three others sent it on Monday 19th evening. I sent mine on Monday morning. besides me 4 / 5 got a call letter who applied before and after me.
Whats your scenario?
Anyone knows about the no. of vacancies and terms and conditions mentioning type rating costs etc?

@dragstar i had sent my resume in feb...around 10-15th....one of my frndz who had applied much later got an email yesterday, but i am still waiting for it.i dont understand the way they are sending the emails, just emailed my resume again, maybe that would help
