@ Canuck15:

Sir, I understand that those pilots are good on the 737 or what ever a/c they have been flying.

But then why would you do something so low to get to that right seat.
Healthy competition is good for all, but these guys were very much aware that the training that would take other pilots almost 2 years to finish up, they would do it in 50 hrs of flying.
Sure the flying school was wrong in allowing to false log, but then why did they accept that kind of stuff?
Why would you in your right mind false log your hrs?
No one can force you to.

If it took me 18 months to complete my training in Australia these guys must have done it in half the time.
Again as with garmia passi , she got her CPL in 5 days!

My recency lapsed by only 7 days! But I did not go bribing some one.
Instead I went back to Australia, got my flying done and applied for it.
It took 2.5 months for my license to be issued.

She got a job within a month!(when jet airways was laying off pilots!)
I havn't yet recvd a call from Indigo for the written test, its been a year now!

I am not trying to explain my situation here, its just a mere example of how deserving and competent pilots are still waiting for a job, while the seats get filled by "such pilots".

The HR told me same that they will conduct exam after rough 25 days .I asked them if I shall come and submit the resume and they said that's not required. So all we can do right now is wait and i am hoping we all will have a fair chance .. God Bless all ..

Also , guys thanks for keeping everyone posted with updates ..Atleast this keeps the morale up.. That some more opportunities are going to come ..

even if they come, they will not hire as per the merit. its so obvious .i think its all decided, do not waste your money again even if they come up.

@Flyjet

Buddy how u can be so sure that next tym if they come up wid any vacancy, the selection won't be on merit basis?
I know 3 of the guys selected in this exam and they all will be leaving for their TR on around 20th...and trust me none of them had any kind of jugaad backing them..i'm very much sure that heir selection was on the basis on merit....

I was not amongst those 300 odd guys who received their the call letter for this one but am preparing well if they come up wid other 1. And I wud recommend the same to u as well.

Cheers!!

@Maverick

Do you know how much does SpiceJet charge for the type rating ?

Also did your friends get selected for the Q400 or 737 ?
