@3443 nautical miles

The obstructions elevation is calculated from mean sea level and qnh gives us altitude above mean sea level whereas qfe gives height above ground. So its safe to use QNH..nt very sure,but i think this should be the answer

unlike indigo and jet threads this thread has been very unhelpful . Hardly people are sharing any info here . Other Aviator4U i think has posted some questions and other than that not much help regarding written and interviews .

So, are Spicejet hiring for the Q400 or the 737? What is the difference in experience required to qualify for the 737 slot vs. the Q400 slot?

Personally, I'd go for Indigo and fly the Airbus if offered a choice - but that would be my preference and not everyone's. The Q400 would be fun to fly but the 737NG is pretty unimpressive from a technology standpoint relative to the Airbus (my opinion). Any flying job in India is a good job I guess.

Good luck to all

Slightly off topic

Any idea what became of the SpiceJet Cadets that were recruited and sent to Sabena Arizona back in 2006/2007/2008 ?

Did they all finally join SpiceJet as first officers ?

Spicejet Exam

Hello all,

has anyone got any update about the spicejet exam which would be held in accordance to the ad which was published for spicejet couple of days back in TOI.

I have called up Spicejet HR but they didn't give any clear indication or details for when the exam will be held ?

Please let me know if you guys have any details

Thanks a lot for all the help

Thumbs down SPICEjET OR ?ScamJet

Spicejet recruitment appears to be a big con-job.
These guys go through tough screening only to recruit a number of fake pilots who land up in jail.
Wonder whether the airline should be called SCAMJET & not Spicejet.
