reason
1) Less time for preparation (exam on 16th)
2) we have to pay the sum of 20,000 RS (forget it i am not applying)
3) I Stay in mumbai (trains W/L 50+)(Flights return tickets 9000RS)
4) If i fail it'l cost me 30000 RS

Greetings….!!!

Subsequent to the application sent for the post of “Trainee First Officer”. We are pleased to inform you that we are conducting a written entrance examination on 16th June 2011.Those candidates who qualify from their performance in written examination will have to undergo for further selection process.

Your are supposed to come and collect your Examination Roll Number on or before 14th June ’11 from SpiceJet Corporate Office (Gurgaon) and have to carry two passport size photographs and a Demand Draft of Rs. 20000/- drawn in favor of SpiceJet Limited, payable at Delhi. Kindly mention your name and contact details on the backside of the demand draft. Venue and timing details will be shared with you on the same day.

You are also required to carry an updated CV and 2 passport size photographs along with the following documents original as well as photocopies:-

1) CPL and IR
2) FRTOL
3) RTR
4) Class one Medical.
5) Log Book
6) Photo ID Proof

first everyone's cribbing nobody was informed about the exams
then there're people complaining cuz the airline didnt call you
third you crib if the airline called you and asks for an entrance exam fee
finally you say work somewhere, earn the money and spend it on whatever you want?

I rather go and sit with baba ramdev and die from fasting than to sit at home shamelessly spending 20 000 of my parents money for spice jet for nothing and even if i passed i need to pay more 15 lac which I dont have......at least when I die people will mention my name for fighting corruption rather then supporting it

Its not worth it anymore guys....Spice jet is busy making money from CPL holders and also remember Spice jet is not DMk owned, in Tamil nadu DMK has been trashed by the opposition ADMK, jayalitha will do anything to crush DMK and will crush the airline...now already they are facing the 2G scam which also involve Spicjet suntv owners kalanithi marans brother minister dayanithi maran...if they are gulity then Spice jet is finished...and those who spend 15 lac for rating will find themeseve with nothing but a worthless rating

I have got a call for spicejet assessment that is to be held on June 16th. Could someone shed some light on the pattern of examination, i.e., number of ques and time duration.

Also, I heard that around 330 candidates appeared in the test on March 4th. Could someone please tell how many cleared the written and subsequently, how many batches were formed for the next stages.

Finally how many were through with the assessment?

330 times 20 000 equal 66 lac....hmmm looks like they made good money
they can do this all over again and they can buy a aircraft with that money.

I am very obliged to be a part of Spicejet airlines.

I am interested in joining Spicejet as trainee pilot but I think the fee for exam is not reasonable.

I would request you to please wave off the fee for the exam and I will be happy to come for the interview.
You see I am unemployed and can’t afford to spend money on exams that Sipce Jet has came up with.

@ planeboy_777 appreciate your effort and to others who will not be giving the exam .

I have not received the mail till now but yes I will definitely not give the exam because of the Rs 20000. And any other hidden cost if any!!

Pretty sure Indigo must have made the first round free after seeing very few students giving the exam hope this one also becomes free after this.

For those who will Still be giving the exam kindly confirm weather is this the only charges??
My friend who is TR had to pay another Rs 50000 for the Sim test which is ridiculous so just in good faith kindly check that.

@ Rai8 as people have received the mail only on 16th I guess it will be only on that day, many of my friends and me have not received the letter.
