yea i'd be happy to share, just not sure whether i'll make it or not, it's like 50-50, i'm hoping i get the result tomorrow atleast

group discussion 1: crew of 747 continues a trans-atlantic flight from LA to england despite one of it's engines failing shortly after take off in order to save costs, was it wise on their part to continue this flight or not?

group discussion 2: priority list - as an employee, you are given 15 points / traits of a company, prioritize them in order of importance

group discussion 3: four situations were given, list your course of action in each case, bomb on board, a/c crashes nearby aerodrome but emergency facilities are delayed, tire debris found on runway after take off, lightening strike

group discussion 4: student pilot looses control after touchdown, details of the crash are given in the script, speculate on what you think are the causes of the crash

group discussion 5: while the a/c is parked at a gate, a flight stewardess falls right through the cabin door while it is open, because the stairs connected to the door were withdrawn too early by the ground crew, resulting in severe injury, speculate on the causes and preventive measures

good luck, everyone!

P.S - anyone else here who gave the gd on 24th, but hasn't got the result yet? or is it just me?

they said mostly by tonight, if not tomorrow morning, but most of the groups have received it on the same day itself, so it does create a bit of panic

thank you, i don't think the interview is anytime soon, i'm guessing sometime in september or october, but then i'd be speculating

i do know this though, there's a good chance the interview and the simulator will be clubbed back to back, that's what they said today

Jet Airways G.D.

Hello everyone,
I got done with my GD sometime back, sorry im posting so late.. Although I read that some people have posted the required stuff.. The pattern mentioned is absolutely correct (Accident/ incident, Role playing, Prioritize 15 points on management, and debate.)
As they say you really cant prepare for the GD, just go in there be yourself, don't get too aggressive but make your point(if your point makes sense).
They are looking for leadership skills so try and keep your group under control (as in, dont let it become a fish market, cos it does.) try and initiate or conclude the discussion but DON'T do both in the same discussion, give others a chance to speak, keep a check on the time limit and remember.. be:
Cool
Calm
Collected &
Confident!!

Good Luck everyone!!
Cheers!!

Yeah they would sure keep the Interview and the Sim together..otherwise its gonna be difficult for candidates to keep going to and fro..!
Do keep in touch...and let us know what happened..My GD is on the second..hope it goes well..and doesn't turn out to be disappointing by the end of the day like the last time..!

@capt.pmr
i wish i could, but 15 points were way too many and we had to list them down in order within 10-15 though, so it all happened way too fast, sorry bro perhaps ITAviator might remember more than me, he was in the same room

not to worry about the priority room though, i honestly found it the easiest room among all five

how will you manage a company- arrange 15 points in order of your preference:
1 assertive
2 technical competence
3 having a vision
4 deciding
5 delegating
6 forming a team
7 nurturing
8 oral communication
9 written communication
10 acting as an advocate
11 dealing with critics
12 personal integrity
13 learning oriented
14 active listener
15 feedback and applauding the individuals

wrote all the points randomly, arrange accordingly what you think will be a better way to run a company. you have limited resources.

try to convince others why your list is good.

other topics that came in the GD were,
Rubber found on departure runway,
man dead inflight
on your first solo and ETA is delayed by 8 mins on your 1st check point and you have covered 1/4 the distance

(UR Response)

2 aircraft investigations,
aircraft skidding on runway, a script was given, you have to find the series of error's made by the crew, cause of the crash, and how to prevent it.

tail plane crashed during take off roll, again the same thing as above.

one debate on
whether pilots should be removed from cockpit and replaced by advanced computers. ( you have to stick to your viewpoint )

All the best to everyone....cheers...
