@Uniform: The "CAR SERIES B PART IV" has been a recent addition to the CAE IndiGo 320 program site. It wasn't there say a couple of months ago and hence systems and jet engines was never asked on the exams. I would suggest double checking with someone who has given the exam more recently

incase if through 1st round:

I have this query because I'm planning to give the next test on 21st June in Delhi and I'm not a localite.

How long( duration of days) does it take them to conduct the next round (2nd, etc) after the 1st stage? Should I be staying back incase if I clear the 1st round or is it ok for me to leave delhi,for back home?
Just need to know so that I can make my arrangements accordingly during my trip to Delhi.

ANy advice on this matter would be very kind.

p.s. what is the address of the venue ,considering that it hasn't changed in the previous attempts.

@boeing787dreamliner.

First find out what should be the temperature at FL80, in ISA conditions.
Then compare it with the actual OAT +6 C here.

Now that you have the deviation from ISA, you can find what the temperature at FL130.

Cheers!

By the way, which book are you referring to for Meteorology?

plz reply

has the syllabus been given by cae for the first time in may i.e. the dgca syllabus for CPL exams which includes "aiframes, powerplant and systems"?

If it was given by CAE for the first time in May, were questions asked in May attempt on jet engines, pistons, hydraulics, pressn, air condtng, landing gear, etc.?
please answer as it would help us all in understanding the paper pattern

thank u

@PP351-
you are correct my dear friend.

ISA temp lapse rate is 2 degrees dec/1000ft inc in height.
FL130-FL80=5000ft. total temp decrease=5*2=10degrees
So temp @ FL130 = 6-10 = -4 degrees.

from fl 80 to fl 130 mean gone up by 5000 feet in isa conditions which is
2* 5 = minus 10
there by temp at fl 80 = plus 6
therefore temp at fl 130 = +6-10=-4 centigrade
u will find all these in oxford
