I was in the initial test this morning! I got a call this afternoon from
a Ms. cheung. She was calling to invite me to the aptitude test? I was confused as to whether she said interview or aptitude test. Can anyone clarify? It is next Thursday at 1115. And can anyone tell me how to figure out of we are mpl or cpp

I also got a reply saying my aptitude test is next Thursday at 11:15am. Anyone else joining me? Also are the mpl and cpp aptitude tests different? How do you know which one you are in?

Hi gachu,

I am from overseas (Canada), and yourself? Ms. Cheung called and asked when my return ticket home was and I replied with no set date. I assume if you are an overseas applicant, your results will be known to you sooner?

And gachu, are you going to be doing the aptitude next thursday at 1115 as well?

LorKam

The AP test is going to be test in a small room with a CX laptop
By that, it is only one person each time.
For CPP or MPL, the IT test email they sent out should answer the question.
However, chance is chance, they may say that they just started a CPP class and the next one going to be MPL, you can ever wait for the next CPP (don't know when) or join the MPL class.

LorKam, since u r from overseas thats y got the call so fast... for locals i think the HR will take few more days to review the candidates test results...

just a side talk n no defense, the IT invitation email said business wear is not required but i was quite surprise to c a wide range or dress code on that day, from shorts/ jeans to full set of suits, i was thinking what said in the email could be a trick set by HR, so i just be safe to wear office clothing

I agree. I believe that although KA claims that no formal wear is necessary, it is extremely important to set a good first impression. Will people be dressing up for the AT?

Did you guys both get call with regards to the at (gachu and kachan)?

Word of advice, for IT, sit in the first row, everyone who's been to the IT and done the in-house listening test will know what I'm talking about.

I did AT on 19/8.
3 in 1: 8 hit 9 miss
fly the plane: 4,6,6
I haven't received any call yet.
But my account has already changed to "please submit...... after 12 months..." that message. I think I've been failed

How's your account now?

supersam,

my status is the same as yours, but looking at the previous posts, it seems a lot of people who did a lot better than us have the same status with the "reapply in 12 months".

and since no one has received any message from KA, i'm hoping there's still this small chance that we haven't failed and that KA may still contact us.

Hi guys,

Heard that now newly joining Second Officers at KA have to take the relief seat instead of doing the actual landing and takeoff. Only when they are promoted to JFO they can do the landing and takeoff. Is it true?

Thanks.
