the recruitment for this year is over.
for 2014, the class would probably start around April, so recruitment may start around Feb.
Btw, don't focus to much on FTA or CTC. Does it really matter where they send u for training?
the most important thing is, THEY PICK U.

Info on DFO
Guys
All info are here on PPRUNE.
Expect interview in 2 stages
First is just a meet and show interest.
Second will be a quite hard interview and a sim. Probably Airbus.
Sim would be a lot of hand flying SE work.
Job is not as good as you might think. But don't know where to find one.
Salary is with new contract average.
Workload is like a LCO.
Annual leave is good.
Fun factor is 0 and the training system is horrible.
It is a management by fear and I think they look up to MOL in Ryanair.
HK is very expensive to live if you want lifestyle but can be done cheaper if willing to do so.
Pollution is very bad but city is safe.
I would think very hard about moving here if you have a family or an OK job home. If unemployed or single, why not?
Not a career job.

I heard the ICAO examiner has been changed not so long ago, and the format is totally different now. It seems to getting even harder...
Does anyone could share some details of the latest ICAO test?
I am gonna take the test very soon.
Does the examiner also has someone related outside for organizing an english course for those who failed??
Thankyou so ouch for your help!!
Hope we all succeed in aviation!!
