Devil Attention All Alliance Air Aspirants !!

I know every tom - dick and harry has wondered or is still pondering over the idea of getting CRJ-700 or ATR's rating done before 21st next month and then apply in the air india. So all those who have weak hearts , i advise you not to read further ahead as this might give u a heart attack .

By getting a rating on any of the above aircraft rating is not going to land u a job. Air India has come up with these vacancies for the elite group (Kids/ relatives of Pilots/Commanders/Politicians etc etc). So if any normal person is thinking to land with Air india... STOP DOING THAT PLEASE..

Now the next question u are going to wonder is ... how come this guy came with this information?? May be he is trying to discourage others...hmmm....

Well as far as ur question that HOW DO I KNOW GOES... i cant tell u my source cause its strictly confidential..
But here's what he/she told me abt some unique features of this AIR INDIA's vacancy, which can calm down ur hungry soul for the validation of my claim.

He/she told me and i quote " the boss was under a lot of pressure, not only from the ministry but also from the pilots. So what they have done now is asked people to apply before 21st june. Considering the vacancy was published on 20th April, it gives ample amount of time for those the elite club people to finish their rating's and apply in time
Another smart plan of their is to not to mention the number of vacancies..cause they wana keep it flexible to accommodate more elite souls.

Also in case if any of such soul is unable to finish the rating with in stipulated period , they have mentioned specifically that at time of filing application and appearing for personal interview ,CURRENT Indian CPL / ATPL, FRTO, RTR, IR and a Class I Medical is required, and no where is mentioned the fact that A/c endorsement is also required....

HMMM... strange isnt it..

In case u are wondering y am i so bothered to write an essay abt all this ****.. well i just thought to give a lil heads up before u leap..

But if u belong to the pool of ELITE SOULS... This is ur chance people...

Apologize if you gentlemen are already aware of this bit of info. Paramount's aircraft are apparently de-registered. Saw them parked in one corner with Isle of Man registration the other day.

Stay away!

Devil Alliance Air

Aviation Insider is cent % correct about the process of inducting CoPilot's in Alliance....this is what i have been told by an executive of AI from operation dept. is that the total vacancy is about in the range of 18-24( Floating- might even go higher)..and an list is already being made of candidates ...70% are being lobbied by Politicians while rest are being absorbed by kids of very senior most AI executives( Regional Dir of Nothrn region/Officer union leaders son and nephew / son of an examinor from AI< actually IC >....and many more....)...........again

Have been told that they will again look for new pilots....mostly trainee's in Alliance air....in 4-6 months time.

The very fact that they require type rated pilots and that too at a reasonably short notice indicates the role played by insider information in selection.

Those who had insider information would be ready with the ATR/CRJ type rating. Thereby beating competition easily.

As some one rightly pointed out somewhere in this forum, the Alliance Air vacancy gives ample time to apply (Last date being 21st June 2010).
But getting ATR training Sim slots is not an easy task. And you need a Sim Partner.
The ones who are to be inducted must be in the process of training at some ATR training facility already before the vacancy came out.

Also during the assessment one need not have the endorsement on license.
Number of vacancies not listed.
And many more cues to point the rigging if one looks around.

@tangowithtushar,

The Kingfisher and Jet trainee pilots are endorsed on the ATR 72 and 42-500.
No operator in India apart from alliance air currently operates a ATR 42-320.
Thus for the KF and Jet trainees to be eligible, they'd have to shell out some money to first get current on type (recency), get the IR renewed, and then the 42-320 rating.

And the most uncertain part is the possibility of being inducted after doing all of this.
Long way, but they have to take the risk if they believe they have a chance.

You cant just wake up one "evenning" visit the alliance site a decide you want the ATR rating..... It's a strict 60 days course divided into three parts..... different cities involved..... ATR will not train you unless you clear the Pre Type Rating instrument course conducted by SEFA (FRENCH IGRUA) ... duration 2 weeks... location avlbl.... Two Small WW II era air strips in france..... 2 hrs driving from the nearest AERODROME (Forget about airPORT) ......

The Alliance vacancies are a closely gaurded lot.... The trained lot on ATR's from IT and 9W is from the 500 series and alliacne wants them to fly the 300 series......

500 series. Fully Automatic Propeller and engine Control.... thr is no Pitch leaver

300 series. A turboprop with a CSU...... it "probably" has a sync unit....

A cost of approx a 10 hundrd thousand to degrade your planes.......

Seems like its Batavia, but not sure.

I was approached with an offer
Simcenter for B737-200/300/400 type-rating 50,000 USD
Followed by a conversion and then a 3 year contract appointment at Batavia, F/O 200 USD a month.

And In addition 20,000 USD 'facilitation fee' for consideration into 3 year free labor.

So a total of 75-80k USD and at least 6 months to the 2000 USD per month paid position.

Considering 50% savings, it will take 72 months ( 6 years for breaking even, disregarding interest component, which is going to be huge for 72 months, may 2-3 years more for break even)

even i got the same offer from an agent 35 lacks for the contract mentioned by jimmi ....well 25 lack for type rating is too much for an 737 old gen plane....i knw a reputed center that will do it for 8000$ easy ...why 25 lacks.....and 10 lack facilitation fee is horrendous...best to wait a few years than regret losing 35lacks..

Maybe you should consider applying to Batavia directly and pay them the type rating yourself

AI & Indigo

AI has officially inducted 90 trainee pilots this month. Some cadet pilots from 2006-07 and some Trainees from 2009 march recruitment drive.
They have been put on 777s and 737s.
heard they might come out with another AD in about 6-8 months.

Indigo (CAE) has selected about 8-9 people of the 90 it had called for its assessment. Letter of Intents will be given to these pilots and once they get a TR on the 320s they will be inducted by Indigo.

Jet sent out some emails in April asking the sep2008 candidates to confirm availability. But after that they have not heard from them.
