I passed the first round of the SIA cadet pilot interview. I'm scheduled to do the aptitude test on 12/02/2016. Was wondering if anyone here is going for that slot as well. Also, any idea where I an get some free online pilot aptitude tests? Any help would be much appreciated
@KingZul90 - You can always try this page Singapore Airlines Pilot Interview-Latest Pilot Jobs-Latest Pilot Jobs they have many airline and aptitude preparations.

It looks like it. Competition gonna be tougher now. Are they now the only airline in the world which offers sponsored cadet scheme with allowance to all nationalities?

Hi everybody,
Can anybody who has applied for the ab-initio program give me some hints regarding the CV. Since I am from Germany, I'm more or less only used to CVs which we use here in Germany/Europe. Is there anything special or very different which is important when applying in SG? I mean of course, I am addressing my previous education (school/university) and my work experience (internships, full-time jobs etc.) but is there anything one should definitely avoid to adress ...?

Btw. does one also have to submit a motivation letter?

Thanks everybody for your assistance .

Hi John, did you obtain an answer from SIA after to cplete the application form? at the moment i got only the confirm registration mail, no else.
Howewer, i think you could find too much material like for example watching videos about interviews, reading articles about the company and be ready to answer to recruiters; i think this, like for every job and in every situation, when you be under pressure is necessary study to don't waste your chance.

Hi, guys. I have a question for ones who did the first interview, Are they taking the height measurement with or without shoes? cause I'm like 163.5cm without shoes, but with shoes I'm more than 165cm.

Another question: Is there anyone who receive interview message without sending his cover letter? I mean how they choose people for interview? sorry for talking a lot , but because it's my first time to apply.

@aravindsasi

There're two programs, one for Singaporean candidates and the other for international candidates. make sure that the Tracking Code is 711-233 (international program).

Hi Everybody,
I also received the automated registration mail. I would like to know more about the interview process:
1. How long do they take to give the results?
2. Do they use PILAPT or the Compass test or something else?
3. What are the stages of the process> Do they have group assessments as well?

Thanks in advance

automated registration mail as in, the one you get after submitting the online CV and form?
if that is the one, then even i am on the same page waiting to know about the second stage and how to go with it! as far as i know all 3 stages (prelim, snr management, aptitude) interview will happen at Singapore! nothing apart from that.
