@Alchemist123: Thanks!
@camel79: I applied on 25/02, my interview is on the 18/03, which means I have three weeks. A friend of mine applied on the same day as I did, I have yet to check with him though.
@truefaith: I was totally stunned by the amazingly quick reply from SIA.
Btw, is everyone here about 26yrs old? I am kind of worried about it as I am not of government approved age yet.
I was wondering if those who have attended the interview recently could share their experiences. It would greatly assist the rest of us.

I have never heard of government approved age. Is there a government approved age before you can apply? Johhny632, if SIA likes you (being young), I think they will consider you.

@truefaith: The government wants to retain the pool of potential pilots for the air force. As such, they only allow SQ to hire those of twenty-six years old and above.
@Stallone: Now that you mentioned it, I realized that the minimum age requirements is no longer there. It will be the end of the year before I turn 26.
From what I have learnt so far, the successful March candidates most probably will be enrolled in the May/June OBS. I would be 25.5 yrs by than.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi guys,
I am new to this forum too. Was so excited looking at all the posts.
I sent my application not long ago, received SIA's email 1 or 2 day after that. Going for an interview on 18th March, too.
Not sure what might happen, haha.
Congrats for those who got in and good luck for those who are attending interview and applying it. =)
Cheers,
Vincent

May be, that is reason I have not been selected.
I should have applied before I completed my studies.

Minimum diploma, mostly degree holders.....
Hate to burst your bubble but if you are not an RSAF pilot dropout, you will most prob not be called up until you are 2-3 mths shy of your 26 bday even if you pass all the interviews, be prepared to get a job first in the meantime while waiting.......

Hi, don't get cheated by that "88". Eventually, some 1 already used the nick "Vincent", therefore I just add in some easily-remembered numbers at the back.
I am 24 and 6 months old, a Malaysian. Not a pilot dropout, just some one ordinary. =)

i was 25.5yrs old when i went for mine last July..
the eye thing is nt expensive, just below $18 at Raffles Medical clinic..
interview went well, answered well, but still got the rejection email from Edward 1wk later..
now i don't know what should i do to stand a better chance if i ever decide to reapply again
