I use the ipad2 3GS and have never found the need for an external GPS. mind you I do not sit in seats 0A or 0B of them big balus.

But I do understand the concept of more GPS the better :E

With the iphone 4 when trying to use Naips, it hangs. Kill off hibernating apps manually and the Naips responds. So I am not sure the auto kill off is 100% effective.
