I agree. Maybe the airport/MAG have realised over the last 18 months or so that they don't need FR to turn a profit at EMA, or that it's not worth the trouble for the small profit they get?...

Easy have just announced plans for a 4 bay hangar in BER. With the recently extended LGW hangar and this new BER hangar, I think it unlikely easy will be interested in hangar 1.

Yes, ref TCDA; Menzies de-icer rig backed into the wingtip when spraying another aircraft. The required inspections and replacement parts arriving from MAN were what took the time.

The aircraft had an autopilot flight control computer fault once in the air. The nearest spare was located at LHR so the aircraft diverted to LGW for it to be replaced. :ok:

The lease on the ex TCX A330's expires nov '11. They plan to keep the ex MYT A330 a/c due to the lower deck lavs installed. There should be more info about the future fleet after the new narrow body...

I believe the height of the extenstion is the same height as the DHL ramp. The logic was to join the two together in the future. I guess somebody forgot about the maintenance area though :ouch:

From what I remember, at most if not all stations...

From what I remember, at most if not all stations they handle FR, if the aircraft doesn't depart on time they don't get paid!! No flights = no on-time departures = no income. Not a good situation...

Years ago when TOM had their B762 or B763 flying a full shorthall schedule the turnaround times were 1 hour. The same for the B752, B738 & Airbus. Agreed there is quite a bit more equipment needed...
