Could be related..... I saw 2 Merlins in close formation over Sheffield yesterday at about 11am. Weather was very poor with a pretty low cloud base.

Hear the noise and the aircraft was directly above.

Difficult to estimate height...

Flew directly overhead our house at around 300 feet and then again about 20 minutes later heading the way he came.

The Missus's guess was it was taking a spinal injury to the Northern General...

Very Odd ....

Not last Friday but for the previous 2 Fridays their has been a large Turboprop flying in circles around Sheffield ( looks like a twin ). It starts around 8pm and seems to go on for around 2-3 hours....
