Four hundred and twenty two punds though!! It's more than £200 more than the same thing in Spain! I can't see how the CAA can justify charging so much!

Blood Tests

I have just done my Initial Class 1 Medical in Madrid. Does anyone know what they test for in the blood sample? Also anyone know how long it takes for them to analyse it and issue the certificate?

ETOPS, where did you fail the Beynes? I failed in LGW back in january but then went to the AMC in Cologne and the Dr. there told me that the CAA accepts their result. Of course you'd have to pass it...

Ishihara Plates

I think it says somewhere on the CAA website that they use the the 24 plate edition, but when I did the test I am sure i didn't do all 24 as I failed some then went on to do Beynes and Holmes Wright.

Training In Germany

Has anyone here trained in Germany? What were their experiences, would they recommend it etc. The reaon I ask is I am thinkinag about doing an An Initio or Modular ATPL Course over there.
