Our DRAIMS aircraft say to select XPDR 1 while the other aircraft also say to select SYS 1 but then have a layer 2 blurb saying to select SYS 2 if using AP 2 for RVSM.

That’s great. Other pilots like to know what’s going on under the hood. It doesn’t mean they don’t do exactly what you do operationally, ie fly the plane, they just have an interest in how it works...
