They were all taken while on an exploration contract last summer in the Alaska Range...a very beautiful place to fly!

You will find when taking the actual exam that there are very few airplane questions. If you study the "RTC" and the "ALL" questions you should do well. That's my experience anyways...a pretty easy...

For those who have never seen one up close

Can be a real bear to track and balance one of these things, the blade tips look kind of funny from inside the cockpit too...as one would imagine, two different tip paths.

I haven't weighed one...

Looks to me that they did not shut it down, the blades are not drooping and I can't see a tail rotor. The pilot must be sitting at the controls...
