AW-139 Short nose

Where's the catch? I've heard everything from fixed landing gear to no weather radar option...

You've been 'ad, Bell427.

Here's a photo of what the aircraft actually looks like:

Wait for it - I can hear the Photoshop supports comming now!

Someones going to say it looks a little blurry to the right of the picture, and that it must have been edited! Look at the line across the tarmac, suddenly curves off!

No, no! You missed the foreshortened ridges and bricks in the wall behind.

All fixed! Even sorted out your tail rotor issue and cleaned up the apron while I was there!

Pity the nose wasn't a bit longer. Could have used it as extra storgae space. The patented 'tri-rotor' is supposed to give smoother quieter flight in the cruise.

ps capt h, you could have at least cleaned the tyre tracks of the apron while you were there.

The short nose is handy for getting into tight parking spaces especially at tesco's..

Dang! We'll have to call that last version "The Pinnochio"

CH, the three blade T/R may require a longer tailboom.

Is this going to become the AW88 thread?

If so, I'd like a higher main rotor mast please, Capt H!

Just as I suspected, the 139 has Russian heritage.
