The female pilot was not the captain but the F/O.

Here in Turkey the story was put in the Hurriyet (one of the biggest newspapers) with full blame to the "female F/O" with full face (and uniform)...

Performance wise the King Air is a beautifull plane as it is in every other aspect. I've done about 2000 hrs on it in VIP charter and loved the plane. Single engine performance is great...
