Globespan problem yesterday at Nice ??

Both EDI/GLA flights were heavily delayed yesterday and the GLA one was shown as having been to Genoa as well ? Anyone know why ? Most unlike this operator to have bad delays .

I am flying with MON EDI/AGP and see , instead of straight back to EDI as last year after 1430 arrival , it does not get back till 0210 !! Presume it makes another leg...

Air-Scotland short of craft ??

Heard they were unable to charter second aircraft " for tech reasons " . Anyone know more or is it a cash problem . Schedules reaaranged yet again . At least they seemed reliable during the winter .

Does anyone know why MYT and old AIH are so consistenely worse than other carriers ?? Even during the winter , at GLA , with no knock-on effects of overnight flights , they are nearly always worse...

Colleague at work - " it was a problem involving miles and miles of wires "( words of pilot to passengers ) , he was on heavily delayed flight , technician had to be flown out from UK .

I cannot help noticing the number of heavy delays on this airline at my home port EDI eg this morning a flight ex BHX delayed over 3 hours , this seems quite common . Anyone know why ??

Have just booked Monarch EDI-AGP mid - Sept . Their flights at Edinburgh are almost always on time ( granted EDI is not a peak charter airport ) .
