Would be good to see GSM put a live flight arrival and departure
link on the website.
link on the website.
Punters generally check seat prices daily in the run up to booking. Live timekeeping on the website over the last 2 weeks would have been self destruction.
The situation is improving, hopefully the rest of the season wont be as bad.

Flightrider - are the flights you listed just slot applications or something more definite? Just that Im sure GSM applied for slots for LPL-ALC last winter, which never started - so if these are only slot applications its no guarentee the flights will start

Edi & Gla- Ssh
Seems Sharm (SSH) is more than just a slot application from EDI & GLA.
Wednesdays only but one of the routes mentioned by flightrider - how
long has this been bookable?

Flyglobespan problems at EDI short haul
Can anyone enlighten me what is wrong this year ? Scarcely a day goes by without tech delays . How old is the equipment and is it in use for the rest of the summer ? This airline had an excellent record since they began but have screwed up big time - eg 7 hour delay on incoming Barcelona on Sun ; Alicante flight went tech yesterday , they pinched an incoming flight to operate to Faro which resulted in a massive delay to the afternoon AGP .
It seems to me the schedules are far too tight as well with ( in some cases ) an impossible 25 minute turnround .

AGP flights seem to bear the brunt - altho' a PPRUNE regular seems to use them without any problems!....not heard from him lately tho;.
Last time I looked over the apron those ex SAS B737 6'undreds were flying the route. Looks as if the 800's are back on the Glasgow rotation.

good luck to them but will have to see what today brings
2 x NEW transatlantic routes starting
LPL to JFK ( 757-200 G-CEJM still in SFB at the moment due to leave at 10.00pm )
GLA to BOS B737-700W ( no return BOS to GLA service starting till Sunday ? )
hope these get off to a better start than the Canadian flights with no/very short delays

I understand that GSM are upgrading the STN-TFS flight from a B733 to a B738. I was just wondering when this upgrade will happen, because I will probably be flying the route at the beginning of August, and I wondered what a/c it will be?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Well, if it was a blue aircraft, that'd mean it was the leased Neos 767 (reg EI-DMJ).
That's Globespan's only 767 at the moment, as far as I'm aware. If it has indeed been damaged, that'll screw up their long haul flights no end!
