Astareus is one of only a few carriers that last year, kept on the majority of it's seasonal crew into the winter and it looks like happening...

A taxi from Crawley station to Astraeus House will cost about 6 or 7 quid. Probably your best bet.
There is a hotel just around the corner from Astraeus House. The Ibis - about £40 a night

I worked for Air uk/KLM uk/buzz from '97 - '00 and can honestly say that i had the plesure of working with some of the best...

It was very sad to read that 'buzz' is going to axe 400 staff. I really feel for the people who are on the verge of losing thier jobs. Lets hope the GMB and BALPA do all they can to help these guys....
