The simple check valve or a non return valve (NRV). Imagine a pipe with a flange which goes around the inside, only a thin one mind, we don't want to restrict the flow too...

just a quickie, the E/E Lightning had a IPN starter, the IPN Tank was on the spine on the top of the fuse and used approx 50cc for each start. me thinks
