Is this a fishing exercise to see who is out there before appointing internal candidates? Or are the seriously looking, and what has been the interest I wonder...?

Has anyone been appointed to any of these positions yet or for that matter has anyone had an interview

Considering the nature of the job, there are several reasons that it would be a very very bad idea to recruit anyone from outside the Company to fill these positions. It would be virtually impossible to do the job without knowledge and experience of the issues affecting personnel and aircraft type.
