well, i'm in the same grey area, and now looking for an other place.
to add the type on my EASA license as well as.
even do i have an FAA license.

My guess, is we are at the wrong place at...

I just read , what you wrote,
I had at least 3500hours total time before I sent my logbook to the CAA, they never said anything, regarding any endorsment from my previous instructors....

you should consider before any training and spend you money, where you want to fly and which type of airplane......
