ATIS is typically prepared to be "available" at the top of the hour. So often they are doing it at :50 or :55 minute mark

any WX changes or important changes will trigger a new ATIS.

It seems like 25% of the pilots I talk to don't understand what managed speed the Airbus goes to when you activate approach in the MCDU if clean configuration. Some say Green Dot, some say VAPP.

I just let it come down. I like autobrake...

I just let it come down. I like autobrake intially to "get it slowed" because it is all computer sensors etc, much better than me. Once it slows, then I go manual braking
