alcohol and altitude

Since increased altitude increases the effects of alcohol consumption I wonder if the pressure altitude inside modern airliners is different from previous generations of airliners?

It does not seem likely the both engines would flame out at the same time. At the end there would be a period of asymetric thrust and probably a spiral dive into the ocean.
