Did anyone else not get an acknowledgment or confirmation email when they applied? I didn't see any 'error' message that others are talking about, but it says 'application received' on the portal!

Anyone know if it'll be essay style questions with a specific time frame to answer them in like the previous 2 years, or online tests which people seem to be mentioning quite a bit?

Not welcome by who exactly? Fellow EI pilots? There were quite a few contract pilots working this summer for Aer Lingus most of which have recently applied for their current DE scheme.
