Point v.. Must be able to self fund the cost of training at CAE Oxford.

Still a massive wedge of money to have to cough up, it's a far cry from the Aer Lingus cadet scheme. Good opportunity for someone who can afford it and have a secured job at the end.

Too expensive for ending up flying an Avro RJ85! Still better going self sponsored and joining Ryan or Easy...

It is, but its better that coughing it up going solo to a school and then trying to get a job at the end, also is not as expensive as FTE or CTC for cityjet cadets. I tried EI last time, didnt get a interview, have to try them all, at some stage will get the lucky break!

I'm certainly interested but would need some clarity regarding employment terms in order to seriously consider applying.

Does anyone know anything [or where to find out] about terms of employment upon completion of training, by any chance?

How do you figure that out? Get your type paid for at the end of the training with this cadetship, full time job, with pension and all the other benefits. Cant see how its better to go self sponsored, have a risk of not getting a job, and then paying for your type with the two airlines you mentioned?

Well, you will do the most of your training in Arizona which is cheaper for the school And you will pay 107,000€ for getting just 150 real aircraft time! They are making a 40,000 profit even more.

Word of caution here. I personally know someone who was onone of the CityJet schemes at Jerez, waited months after training for a TR dateand ended up going to another airline because he was waiting so long… and hewasn’t the only one. Whether or not this will be the same in this instance I couldn’tpossibly say, but its something to keep in mind.

Might be to save people traveling from Ireland as they have their HQ in Dublin. There is an assessment page now, look like there is an option to pick dublin or oxford for your first assessment with limited places in Dublin

I am invited to go to Oxford, did you have the choice between Dublin and Oxford?
I only have the 30 th of June proposed, I wonder whether we could ask to change or not?
Coming from France, I would prefer go directly to Dublin rather than Oxford which is not the most accessible for me.

hey guys!

I was at the assessment last tuesday.

But one of my friends is still waiting for an answer to the first phase.

May I ask you when did you get your invitation to the assessment day?

Hi guys,

To be sure to have understood. There is only 4 selection days, 1 last week, 1 next week in Oxford and 2 in Dublin the 1St week of July? So there should be around 72 person invited for 10 final place
Am I right in my reasoning?
