Off topic slightly here but there are many more Airprox reports involving aircraft using a basic service then there are using a traffic service.

I would always use a traffic service if possible.

I think clacton aero club is the one your after.

Country based - 2 minutes (flying time) from the East Anglian countryside.
Flying club - Does tail wheel and as far as I know aerobatics....
