Off topic slightly here but there are many more Airprox reports involving aircraft using a basic service then there are using a traffic service.

I would always use a traffic service if possible.

C152 that I usually fly began to leak a copious amount of fuel from primer and underneath the primer. It just so happens that the primer on the 152 is located adjacent to the master electrical switch...

Hardest PPL exam

Just wondering what JAR PPL exam people found the hardest as NAV was a killer for me :( I did pass - ONLY JUST, but I think it must have been my maths that ever so slightly let me down.

Country based - 2 minutes (flying time) from the East Anglian countryside.
