I work for one of the 3 companies which fly offshore (windparks ) out of northern Germany. Unlike to offshore flights out of Aberdeen, where they use HMRs based on a VOR Radial, we use a GPS routing...

@ EC-155 drivers

Is the EC 155 certified to fly in "known icing conditions" in the US ?
Is it working well, did you encounter any issues with it?

As far as I know, the INITIAL JAA Class 1 medical examination is a a complex and expensive one, since you have to go to several doctors.

My question is, can I obtain my inital JAA...

yes

i know two guys that just got a job with ADA as a SIC in 412.

Guy 1) flew couple years in GOM.
Guy 2) has 1600hrs in piston , no turbine time but knew somebody inside ADA.
