I recommend getting a degree of some sort. I started university at the tender age of 22 after piss-farting about for 4 years after school, always with the intention of flying in the back of my mind....

Question TCAS XPDR interrogation.....

I've noticed on countless VFR cross-countries around NZ the light flashing on my XPDR,even when out of range of SSR. Would a TCAS interrogation cause the light to flash?

I've just got myself a pair of presrciption sunglasses as per the Class 1 requirements. Go for the Rayban G15 tint. Excellent colour definition and no depth perception issues.

Class 1 medical's are required for all professional licences, ie CPL & ATPL. These are issued by the CAA in NZ (www.caa.govt.nz).
