Thumbs down Don't bother !

The pay for Ft. dispatcher's in the UAE is about $ 4000 pm for ''experienced'' guys/girls, however, it'll cost about $2500 pm just to live there... most of the folks doing that jobs are from the 3rd...

Fellow expat airmen in Asia. I was wondering if either Indian or Chinese companies ever hire expat Flt. Ops specialist. (director of Ops) or assistant Head of Ops.... or if they are always 'locals'??...

My experience in the Mid East (KSA and Bahrain ) is that if an Expat works there as an airmen working for a management team run by Local's (non expats) is that ALL of them cheated...

when you say ''reputable'' the 'individual' airline have their ''personal favorites'' but if the TRTO is ''APPROVED'' by the authorites that concers your ''certiffication'' ... then you're home safe...

For the Dispatcher work in the USA, the ''average'' pay is $24,000 p/a to start and it takes about 20 years to get to $100,000 !!!
In the USA right now, there aren't that many ''entry level''...

Just came back from Bahrain after many years there and can tell you that there are NO FTO's or TRTO's of any kind in Bahrain.

Quite simply, not much!

In the NE USA, there seems to be very little signs of guys training now a days. even large flying colleges have shown a downturn.
