It is nice to know your low speed buffet for a particular weight and altitude, however I personally don't think that it is not too smart to be flying below drift down speed one eng inop.

MDA means Minimum Descent Altitude. You cannot descend below this altitude unless adequate visual reference is achieved.

DA means Decision Altitude. This is the altitude that the decision is made...

I know quite a few people that have left HK. One of the major reasons they left was the pollution. I would just hate to be bringing up the developing lungs of young childeren in such an environment....
