Hearing Loss

Hearing is out of limits, so have to have a functional hearing test and submit the form, is this necessary for every revalidation/renewal or two yearly.

There does seem to be a difference between what the NHS and the CAA regard as diabetes.

I have read the caa guidance.


My intial HbA1c was 50 and blood sugar 5.6 the GP calls it pre diabetes,and gave me metformin.

They say the cost of a type rating is 27500, payable at 5.5/hr, yet the contract is for 5 years.if you fly the max hours in a year you only pay back 24500, are you still liable for the rest.
