Lot of comments about using a different approach...

Lot of comments about using a different approach and minima but the issue was that all NPAs had obviously higher minimal and with the low ceilings almost everywhere the choices were fairly limited.

If the aircraft is more than 50 nms from the TOD, then it will perform a normal cruise descent and level off at the new cruise altitude and the FMA will read VNAV PTH.
