I subscribed spring 2008. Nothing happened for months and months, despite exchange of e-mails, various promises and a number of e-mails that weren't responded to.

Had completely given up on it...

What is your definition of 'Situational Awareness'? I've not had anyone mention it to me during PPL(H) training so far and I don't recall seeing any specific text about it in the ground school...

Any company doing helicopter rides in the UK at events like this will be a reputable operator; the CAA will only allow properly qualified commercial pilots to carry out this sort of operation.
