Not just the racers...

I had a friend that lost one of three blades (foreign prop shop job) on a Cessna 206 with a Continental 520 at normal cruise. He shut it down within seconds, but it also broke 3 of 4 engine mounts....

I've never read a worse gear fire story than that NationAir story. If it isn't a "landmark accident," it should be. Thanks for posting it, it'll be in the back of my mind on every preflight.
