I looked into this a couple of years ago and there is no chance to fly a lighty in shanghai airspace (unless its all changed).
Most airspace in China is off...

That seems very expensive for a 206 rating. I wouldn't think it should cost anymore than $1000. I'd hate to think what they'd charge for a Seneca rating then.

I'm not 100% sure but you can't renew it in oz, you'd have to pretty much do the whole thing over again including exams and that would get you the oz MECIR. Prob easier to do in NZ then "ttmra" it.
