Heard report this morning that TC-LOL operating as TK627 IST-PHC 30-DEC-19 had "crash landed" at PHC/DNPO (Port Harcourt, Nigeria)

Report that there was "bad weather" which considering the smog...

Spent 3 years in Khartoum, though left there nearly 3 years ago !.

Pros : Probably the safest capitol city in the World.
Some reasonable restaurants, Indian, Chinese, Lebanese, Fast Food, Pizza...

If the timings are correct the A/C was only 15 mins out of HSWW.

At the time HSWW WX was good though there was cloud cover.

B-200 belly landing HSWW

At about 08:45 L a 5Y- reg. B-200 belonging to Capitol Airlines of Kenya had a belly landing at HSWW.

Aircraft made a normal approach with gear down. About 2 seconds from landing the gear went up...
