Message #42 looks as though they didn't miss a building (the fire station??) by very much.

Seems like a stupid idea to me to put a fire station between parallel runways....

Why are you carrying this "baggage" with you all these years. McDonnell Douglas was bought and merged with Boeing in 1997.

They don't even make DC-10's anymore, not even the McDonnell updated...

Jumpseat brace -- two styles

First two airlines I worked for, forward facing jumpseat (crappy F-27s where the seat would have collapsed anyway) head tucked, palms up under the thigh.

Set it at 14:38 and watch it...

This gives a really clear picture of the convergence of the two aircraft, but TIME MUST BE SET AT 14:39 !!!!!!!!
