When I did my flying training on RAF Chipmunks...

When I did my flying training on RAF Chipmunks back in 1965 and when subsequently flying them on holding postings the Carb Air was always "wired HOT".

I suppose I fall into the average PPL category.

Been flying for many years about 800 hours of various flying but now settle for about 35 -40 hours a year in 172 or similar all paid for and costs...
