I had my 13.4's converted a few months ago and it was money well spent.

I've never used a 'proper' ANR headset so don't have anything to compare it to, but I'm very happy with the end result.

Can't comment in any sort of medical capacity, but I recently took a friend flying who has early stage Parkinsons. He used to fly gliders.

Didn't do anything more adventurous than a cross-country...

Just spoken to Lyneham. Cost of a couple of approaches works out at about £35. Not significantly more expensive than any of the civilian airfields I've used.

I can recommend Enstone Flying Club. Great club atmosphere, decent selection of aircraft. I'm on my third club/flying school - EFC is by far the best of the bunch.
