Who has it will depend on the business. For example a big company like TUI will most likely be on 3 day settlement of funds, so they get your money 3 days after the card transaction takes place....

BA does seem to have more than it's fair share of incidents at the moment. 3 weeks ago the LGW / Cancun flight had to make an emergency landing for fumes. Different aircraft. Glad all are safe.

ATC were unable to make contact with the aircraft, good job it wasn't Heathrow and he got shot down - dramatic perhaps but unidentified aircraft, no contact, could have ended a lot worse.

If the data really needs to be secure find another way to send it. A quick Google search will give you counless programs that will unlock a protected Excel document in seconds.
